Hi! I’m Lauryn Dant (she/her)

Reaching out for therapeutic support is a courageous step. I am honored to support you in the next steps of your therapeutic journey.  You may feel constantly on edge, overwhelmed, or disconnected from yourself—like your mind and body are always bracing for something. It can feel like you are always “on,” even when you want to rest. I help adults heal from trauma and anxiety so they can feel safer, more grounded, and more in control of their lives.

I have over a decade of experience supporting adults and teens managing complex and developmental trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and mood disorders.  I became certified in Integrative Mental Health Care in 2024. My greatest reward as a therapist is supporting clients in finding their own process, recognizing their strengths, and looking forward to the future with confidence and hope.

Our Time Together:

Many clients come in feeling overwhelmed or unsure where to start. We won’t rush the process or push you to revisit things before you’re ready. Instead, we focus first on helping your mind and body feel safer and more stable.

My approach is warm, grounded, and collaborative, with a strong focus on nervous system regulation. I integrate practical tools you can use in your daily life with deeper therapeutic work, so you’re not just talking about your experiences—you’re learning how to feel differently in your body over time. From there, we gently begin to process what you’ve been carrying—at a pace that feels manageable and respectful of your experience. Together, we create a clear path forward so therapy feels supportive, not overwhelming.

I choose to be real and vulnerable about who I am so we can build a trusting relationship together. Sometimes I’ll cry with you. Sometimes I’ll cuss with you. Hopefully we can also find some laughs along the way. I can be overly animated (no stoic “therapy face” here!). You’re always welcome to ask questions to get to know me too. A strong, trusting therapeutic relationship is central to meaningful change. You can rely on my unconditional support of you.

My clinical approach is informed by cultural humility and social justice. The commitment to exploring and dismantling internalized white supremacy on both a personal and professional level is an integral part of my clinical work and training. I recognize the long-standing barriers for BIPOC to access therapy as well as the impact of systemic racism, inequities, and discrimination. Improving BIPOC access to culturally-informed mental health care is vital. In our work together, I invite conversations about how my whiteness impacts our therapeutic relationship and work.
